Birds are fascinating, it's impossible to know what they're thinking, which makes it really fun to guess.
I spotted this bird in Vondelpark, and it looked like it was pondering – as if contemplating a massive life decision. Imagine what he/she is thinking? Maybe something like:
"What am I doing with my life, just eating fish and pooping on people's heads? Should I do something more meaningful?"
"My boyfriend is getting on my last nerve, should I leave him for Petty the Parakeet?"
Or it could be something as simple as:
"Food, food, food."
Studying their movements and interaction with each other brings me immense calm. Maybe it's because we are programmed to be connected to our fellow animals. All I know is that I will keep on observing!
